A Dallas metro map is easiest to read once you know the four DART Rail lines and where they meet downtown. From Love Field, a bus connects the airport with Inwood/Love Field Station, where you can board Green or Orange Line trains.

  • Rail: Red, Blue, Green and Orange lines all pass through downtown Dallas.
  • Love Field link: DART Bus Route 5 connects the airport with Inwood/Love Field Station.
  • Downtown transfers: Pearl/Arts District, St. Paul, Akard and West End are transfer stations.
  • Airport connection: The Orange Line serves DFW Airport, including Terminal A Station.

What Dallas’s transit network includes

Dallas public transport includes DART Rail and bus routes, with all four rail lines passing through downtown Dallas. The Red, Blue, Green and Orange lines give you several ways to connect across the city’s rail network.

The Green Line runs from North Carrollton/Frankford Station to Buckner Station, passing through Inwood/Love Field Station and downtown. The Orange Line serves Inwood/Love Field and links downtown with DFW Airport; its Parker Road service is limited to peak hours, while LBJ/Central is a northern terminal during off-peak hours.

Downtown transfer points include Pearl/Arts District, St. Paul, Akard and West End. If you’re planning a mix of rail, buses and driving, the getting around Dallas guide covers those broader options.

Take DART Bus Route 5, also called Love Link, from Love Field to Inwood/Love Field Station. At the airport, find the pickup on the lower-level drive outside baggage claim by following signs for Ground Transportation. This bus connection is one part of getting from Dallas Love Field Airport to the hotel.

The Love Link shuttle ride from the airport to the station is free. At Inwood/Love Field, Route 5 connects with the Green and Orange lines; the station is at the southwest corner of Inwood Road and Denton Drive, with local parking and accessible features.

The station’s other bus connections are Routes 103 and 207, and it is also served by GoLink and paratransit. Route 207 is identified as a shuttle option during rail disruptions.
